Cirrus Training UK offers FAA and EASA Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Transition and Advanced Training in addition to Safety Procedures Training through our network of European Partners. As a Cirrus Training Centre we are afforded the resources of Cirrus Approach learning materials to give you the best start in your Cirrus. We can train in our aircraft from Oxford Airport or in your own and at your location. All our Instructors are dual qualified on both Perspective and Avidyne Avionics in addition to both FAA and EASA license requirements.

Basic Transition

The Basic Transition is designed for VFR Pilots. The course consists of a minimum of 6 hours flight time in addition to Ground and Online Study. The average Pilot can complete the training in 10 hours although this is dependent on ability and experience.

Advanced Transition

The Advanced Transition Course is designed for those Pilots already holding an Instrument Rating. It covers the Basic Transition Course in addition to IFR Procedures. The minimum time is 8 hours of flight time in addition to Ground and Online Study. For an average IFR Pilot this is completed in 12 hours.

Avionics Differences

Avionics Transition Training is designed for Cirrus Pilots wishing to Transition between Avidyne and Perspective Avionics. There is no recommended length of the course and completing is down to the Pilots Experience.

Powerplant Differences

The Airframe and Powerplant Differences Course is designed for Cirrus Pilots who are transition to a different Aircraft. E.G From Non turbo to Turbo. We recommend a minimum of 2 hours flight time in addition to ground and online study.

Private Pilots Licence

Gaining your Private Pilots Licence can be one of the most rewarding acheivements. Learning to fly in a Cirrus goes that much further with advanced avionics and the safety of the CAPS system. We offer both FAA and EASA PPL Training in either our aircraft or in your new purchase.

Instrument Rating

We all know the UK weather can be limiting so earning your Instrument Rating gives you that added advantage of getting above that grey gloomy cloud and see the sun every day you fly.

FAA IPC and Flight Reviews

We can provide FAA Flight Reviews and Instrument Proficiency Checks in our aircraft of your own.
